This type of issue can have two main causes:

A previous CompuClever Antivirus Plus installation which was not completely removed or a faulty CompuClever Antivirus Plus installation.
In this case, follow these steps:

Remove CompuClever Antivirus Plus completely from the system:

In Windows XP:
Click Start, go to Control Panel and double-click Add / Remove programs.
Find CompuClever Antivirus Plus and select Remove.
Click Remove in the window that appears and then select I want to reinstall it.
Wait for the uninstall process to complete and then reboot your system.

In Windows Vista and Windows 7:
Click Start, go to Control Panel and double-click Programs and Features.
Find CompuClever Antivirus Plus and select Uninstall.
Click Remove in the window that appears and then select I want to reinstall it.
Wait for the uninstall process to complete and then reboot your system.

In Windows 8:
From the Windows Start screen, locate Control Panel (for example, you can start typing "Control Panel" directly in the Start screen) and then click its icon.
Click Uninstall a program or Programs and Features.
Find CompuClever Antivirus Plus and select Uninstall.
Click Remove in the window that appears and then select I want to reinstall it.
Wait for the uninstall process to complete and then reboot your system.

Reinstall your CompuClever Antivirus Plus product.

CompuClever Antivirus Plus is not the only security solution installed on your system.
In this case, follow these steps:
Remove the other security solution. For more information, please refer to “How do I remove other security solutions?”.

Remove CompuClever Antivirus Plus completely from the system:

Reinstall your CompuClever Antivirus Plus product.
