Ignore List

After performing a Registry Repair, System TuneUp, or an Internet TuneUp scan, you can review and ignore items displayed in the results.  These items are sent to the Ignore List page.  When you open this page, you can view all the ignored items and choose to remove them from the list so that they are once again available to be scanned.

Getting Started

You can begin by opening the Ignore List.

To open the Ignore List window, do the following:

From the Options page, click the Ignore List link.

 

If there are no items in your list you are notified.  In the case where you have ignored items, they would be displayed in the list.

Name:

Description:

Click this to expand the category to display the complete list of items.

Category name

The name of the category; "Registry Repair", "System TuneUp" or "Internet TuneUp"

Ignored

Total count of items ignored.

Selected

Total count of items selected to be removed from the list.

Select All

notes  By default there are no items selected to be removed from the list.

Click this check box to have all items removed from the list.  Alternatively, if all items are  checked, you can clear the check box so that no items are removed from the Ignore list.

 

Removing Items From the Ignore List

You can review the ignore items displayed in the list and choose to select the items you want to be removed from the list.  By doing so the items are once again available to be scanned and repaired.

Select Items

By default all items are cleared in the Ignore list.  You can choose to select any item.

To clear an item do the following:

1.Click a plus sign of a category in the list to expand it (or double-click the category heading).
2.Select the associated check box.

 

You can also choose to select all items in a category.

To clear all items in a category do the following:

Check the associated Select All check box.

Remove Items

After you have made your selection, you can then remove the items from the list.

To remove the items from the list, do the following:

1.Click the Remove Selected Items button.
2.Click Yes in the confirmation dialog.

 

When you are done you can click the Main Menu button to continue using the program.
