System Information

The System Information utility is an onboard system tool provided by Microsoft Windows. PC TuneUp Maestro invokes this utility for your convenience - you can launch the window to view System Information from the Fix-it Center. System Information is useful for diagnosing your computer and troubleshooting issues as it collects and displays information about the configuration of your system and includes a System Summary list with subcategories. This is a handy tool for those who take an active role in administering their computers.

Getting Started

View the available system hardware and software information using the Search function.

To open the System Information window, do the following:

1.	From the Fix-it Center window, type "Information" in the Search field.

2.	For the search result: "Check PC system information", click the Fix Now button.

This utility is available for advanced diagnostics techniques in computing maintenance. There are also useful tools for those that are seeking solutions to specific issues such as device drivers or simply getting the details on particular components. Keep in mind that the System Information window includes a search feature (the "Find What" search field at the bottom) and there is Help file that can also point out some of the troubleshooting features such as the Dr. Watson tool.
