Resource Monitor

The Resource Monitor is an onboard system tool provided by Microsoft Windows. PC TuneUp Maestro invokes this utility for your convenience - you can launch the window to monitor PC resources from the Fix-it Center. It displays resource monitors including CPU, Memory, Disk, and Network usage. The Resource Monitor is a useful tool for those who take an active role in administering their computers as you can better service and manage networks, computers, services, and other system components.

Launching the Resource Monitor

View the available Resource monitor tool using the Search function.

To start the Resource monitor, do the following:

1.	From the Fix-it Center window, type "Resource" in the Search field.

2.	For the search result: "Monitor PC resource usage", click the Fix Now button.

Using the Resource Monitor

With the Monitor displayed you can begin to use the Monitor and you can navigate to the Logs and Alerts.

There are a number of options available to you with the counters that are displayed with the Monitor including:

•	Clearing the display

•	Creating a new counter set

•	Highlighting a counter

•	Toggling between views

•	Freezing the display

•	Configure Monitor properties

There are other features and functions available than those listed here. Keep in mind, a help file is available for more detail about specific tasks, problem-solving instructions, features, and troubleshooting.

Navigation

In the left navigation pane, you can click "System Monitor" or "Performance Logs and Alerts".

Close and Continue

When you are done using the Resource Monitor you can close the window and return back to PC TuneUp Maestro.
