Manage My Tools

The Manage My Tools function is available for you to use when wanting to apply a similar fix without having to download the tool repeatedly.  For example, some tools include applying the most recent error fix or update from a manufacturer.  You can use the Manage My Tools function to use previously used tools.  All the Fix-it Center tools are externally installed by you and after you have installed them you have the option of launching them at any point or deleting them.

Getting Started

You can open the Manage My Tools window directly from the Fix-it Center.

To open the dialog window, do one of the following:

When you first open the window the main area could be empty unless you have already used one or more of the Fix-it tools.  If you have used a Fix-it tool, you can see a list similar to the one presented here:

Launch or Delete

You can choose to launch or delete any of the entries in the list.

Launch:

You can launch and run any item displayed in the list.

To launch and run a Fix-it tool, do the following:

Click the Launch button associated with the tool and follow the steps and instructions provided by that particular tool.

The tool will provide a Fix button such as can be seen here:

Delete:

You can also choose to delete an item from the list.  By doing so you remove the tool and you will need to repeat the process as outlined above should you need to use it again.

To delete an item, do the following:

Click the Delete button.
