Smart TuneUp Schedule

You can create schedules for the Smart TuneUp so that it scans automatically at a time of your choosing.  You can also restore the settings to their original default state.

Getting Started

You can begin automating Smart TuneUp scans by displaying the settings.

To open the Smart TuneUp Schedule page, do the following:

From the Options page, click the Smart TuneUp Schedule link.

Schedule Scan Options

To begin you can choose whether to have automated scan schedules running.

If you choose to not have Smart TuneUp Schedules, do the following:

Select the option button: Do not perform a scheduled Smart TuneUp scan.

 

To choose a schedule scan, do the following:

1.Select the option button: Perform a scheduled Smart TuneUp scan with the following options.
2.Configure the Smart TuneUp Schedule Scan options

Options:

Description & Instruction:

Start the scan at:

Time: hours, minutes, and AM or PM

Select one of the time intervals (hours, minutes, or AM/PM), and use the arrows to increase or decrease the time or adjust it to AM or PM.

On the following day(s):

Days of the week.

Select one or more days of the week by selecting the corresponding check box.

The scan will include the following categories:

Type of PC TuneUp Maestro feature components.

Select one or more of the following: Registry Repair, System TuneUp, Internet TuneUp, and Registry Defrag.

When including a Registry Defrag with a Smart TuneUp scan, use the following:

Select one of the following options:

Scan and defrag the registry once every month. (Recommended).
Scan and defrag the registry with each scan.

 

Restore Defaults

After making changes to the settings you can easily restore all the settings to their original default state.

To restore the defaults, do the following:

Click the Restore Defaults button.

 

When you are done you can click the Main Menu button to continue using the program.
